Yesterday we had a visit from the Science Roadshow. The focus of the session was Sound Waves.
Some of the main messages about Sound Waves were they could be high in pitch or low in pitch because of the air and if the sound is closer together it is higher in tone and if it’s further away it is lower.
Something I enjoyed the most was the kinetic sand because it felt nice to play with and I learned a lot.
My favourite part of the Science Roadshow was the gas fire because I liked how when you changed the volume it would either grow in width or length.Something I will take away from this visit was that if the air is closer then it will be
higher in pitch because that means that if i make noise of any kind if the air is closer together the noise will be more high pitch.
What happens when the air is closer together?
